Dear Colleagues:
We invite you to the 2010 International Symposium on Flexible Automation (ISFA) (formerly the Japan-USA Symposium on Flexible Automation) to be held in Tokyo, Japan on 12-14 July, 2010. The purpose of this biennial symposium is to promote research activities in various areas of flexible automation by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas, presentation of technological achievements, and discussion of future directions. While the main focus of this symposium is on manufacturing automation, papers dealing with flexible automation in non-manufacturing areas will be welcomed. Our Organizing Committee is planning an exciting set of presentations, discussions and interactions at the 2010 ISFA. We sincerely, hope that you join us for this leading edge conference in Tokyo.
